- bachelors degree from this university, or another tertiary institution, for a period of at least 7 years; or
- an approved masters degree from this university, or another tertiary institution, for a period of at least 4 years; or
- a PhD in commerce, economics or management studies from this university, or another tertiary institution.
Fees for Australian students
Australian students (including Australian citizens or permanent residents and New Zealand citizens) are currently exempt from paying tuition fees for Doctor of Economics (DEcon) studies.

This program is not a Research Higher Degree program. If you wish to undertake a research higher degree program, please refer to the Doctor of Philosophy, or the Master of Philosophy. This award is for scholars and professionals who have made a significant contribution towards the study of commerce, economics or management. It is the highest award in these disciplines.

To complete the Doctor of Economics
