The program combines with studies in selected fields of business. To complete the Master of Engineering Science (Management), a student must complete a requisite number of courses chosen from the course list and according to the Rules for the program.

- #2 from Part C of the MEngSc (Electrical Engineering) list;
- at least #4 from Part D in a particular field of the MEngSc (Electrical Engineering) list; and
- the balance from Parts D and E of the MEngSc (Electrical Engineering) list
- for the MEngSc(Man)(Software Engineering Plan code: SOFTWX5471), #32 comprising -
- #8 from Part A of the MBus list
