What you can do with a Graduate Certificate in Engineering Science
Careers
Graduate Certificate in Engineering Science graduates have acquired experience that enables them to cross disciplinary boundaries, and are equipped to take on advanced engineering work. They will have a combination of business, problem solving and interpersonal skills; as well as technical engineering experience that will enable them to understand markets and develop relationships of trust with customers, suppliers, business partners, and to work within teams.

Program Rules and Requirements
To complete the Graduate Certificate in Engineering Science
To complete the Graduate Certificate in Engineering Science, a student must complete a requisite number of courses chosen from the course list and according to the Rules for the program.
Students should be aware of the University of Queensland rules, particularly the General Award Rules, which govern the conduct of UQ programs. Students will find a link to the General Award Rules, and other University rules, on the University Rules page.
A student is required to obtain #8 from the Master of Engineering Science List or other courses in related fields of study approved by the Executive Dean. Consult the Head of School prior to enrolment. Refer to the MEngSc program list and the GCEngSc rules for further information.
