Entry requirements for International students

Prerequisites

To enrol, a student must
(a) (i) hold an approved degree in Information Technology or Computer Science; or a field related to information technology or computer science; or
(ii) hold the Graduate Certificate in Computer Sc; or
(iii) have completed post-secondary study and 2 years relevant work experience approved by the executive dean; and
(b) satisfy the Executive Dean that, based on the student's academic record the student is suitably qualified for admission.

Additional application requirements

To enrol, a student must ¿ (a) (i) hold an approved degree in the field of Information Technology; or (ii) completed the graduate certificate in Computer Science; and (b) satisfy the Executive Dean that, based on the student's academic record the student is suitably qualified for admission.

Closing date

To commence study in semester 1 - November 15 of the previous year for Category 1 and 2 countries; October 15 of the previous year for Category 3 and 4 countries.

To commence study in semester 2 - May 15 of the same year for Category 1 and 2 countries; April 15 of the same year for Category 3 and 4 countries.

Fees for International students

Indicative annual fee: AUD$ 30800

Indicative annual fees are calculated on the basis of two full-time semesters only. Actual annual fees may vary in accordance with your choices of majors and electives and whether you study in Summer Semester. Tuition fees are indexed each year. The indexation rate is fixed 18 months in advance of a particular academic year thereby allowing you to plan your finances ahead of time. The University's intent is that fee rate increases will be kept to a minimum and that indexation rates will remain stable wherever possible. Since 2007 the indexation rate has remained at or less than 4%.
