Why study the Graduate Certificate in Health Sciences?

This program will offer postgraduate coursework offerings for a range of health professionals from multiple disciplines. Each field of study will be targeted at meeting workforce and market interest in emerging interprofessional areas of knowledge, skill and practice.

To be eligible for the UQ Graduate Certificate in Health Sciences, individuals must enrol in and successfully complete at least 3 units at UQ.

To transfer from the Developing Clinicians as Leaders (DCAL) program offered by Health Insitu, individuals must apply in writing for admission to the Graduate Certificate in Health Sciences using the Application for Postgraduate Coursework form. You are then required to enrol in and complete at least 3 units at UQ. Applications for credit on the basis of work undertaken as part of the DCAL program will be approved and noted on your UQ transcript only if the relevant academic pack has been successfully completed (one UQ unit equals two DCAL courses plus the associated academic pack).

To complete the Graduate Certificate in Health Sciences

To complete the Graduate Certificate in Health Sciences, a student must complete a requisite number of courses chosen from the course list and according to the Rules for the program.
