The indexation rate is fixed 18 months in advance of a particular academic year thereby allowing you to plan your finances ahead of time. The University's intent is that fee rate increases will be kept to a minimum and that indexation rates will remain stable wherever possible. Since 2007 the indexation rate has remained at or less than 4%.

The rural systems management program upgrades the knowledge and skills of professionals working in the rural and regional development area. Courses focus on practical work or community based training. Students develop a high level of knowledge and skills needed to work with individuals, groups and communities to analyse, plan, implement and evaluate community development programs and activities. They gain a thorough understanding of the theories and models of change and innovation as they apply in rural and regional settings.

Additional application information
Each course is offered in a flexible delivery mode that begins with a five day residential session where students are introduced to relevant concepts and theories, develop an action plan, then undertake work-based learning projects for the next ten weeks. There is a follow-up two day residential session where work is presented. Students then document their learning in a written assignment. For students enrolled full-time internal, regular tutorial contact will be maintained throughout the semester. It is an expectation that students have private access to a computer and the internet.
