Indicative annual fees are calculated on the basis of two full-time semesters only. Actual annual fees may vary in accordance with your choices of majors and electives and whether you study in Summer Semester. Tuition fees are indexed each year. The indexation rate is fixed 18 months in advance of a particular academic year thereby allowing you to plan your finances ahead of time. The University's intent is that fee rate increases will be kept to a minimum and that indexation rates will remain stable wherever possible. Since 2007 the indexation rate has remained at or less than 4%.

Why study the Master of Plant Protection?
The plant protection program develops core disciplinary knowledge and skills in plant protection, emphasising tropical and subtropical aspects of the field. Compulsory courses cover plant pathology, entomology, weed science and the integration of these disciplines. Students may focus their studies in one of the following areas: tropical pest management; agricultural entomology; plant pathology; or weed sciences. Graduates possess an understanding of key principles and their application in professional practice; relevant communication and problem-solving skills; and the ability to undertake research in plant protection.
