4-year BBiotech(Hons) OR 4-year BSc(Hons) with Class I or IIA in a field relevant to the proposed program of study in the Masters OR an approved degree-equivalent of at least 4 years' duration.

Why study the Master of Biotechnology (Advanced)?
There is currently a tremendous growth in the international biotechnology industry and allied service sector. Research and development managers require scientists with core technical skills, knowledge of commercial imperatives and current regulatory environments.
This Advanced Masters program is designed for scientists who want to update their technical and research skills in core areas such as molecular biology, protein technology or bioinformatics, and who wish to acquire more extended research laboratory research than is available through the three semester MBiotech. The program will provide a strong training for entry to a PhD.
The Master of Biotechnology Program is accredited by the US Council of Graduate Schools (Washington DC) as Professional Science Master¿s programs.

To complete the Master of Biotechnology (Advanced)
To complete the Master of Biotechnology (Advanced), a student must complete a requisite number of courses chosen from the course list and according to the Rules for the program.
