Why study the Master of Music?
This program provides students with music and music education research skills and knowledge designed to meet the professional development needs of those working in school-based music education, independent studio music education, or community music education. Students complete three core courses and select elective courses according to their interests. Graduates of the program will demonstrate knowledge and application of the principles of music pedagogy in a range of educational or community settings.

Careers
The program may provide enhanced career opportunities for instrumental music teachers.
While this degree may be accredited by an official industry accreditation body in Australia, completion of the degree may not result in graduates receiving automatic accreditation. Please contact the relevant registration body for details of any conditions for accreditation.

To complete the Master of Music, a student must complete a requisite number of courses chosen from the course list and according to the Rules for the program.
