The MBA is a world-class program covering the key areas of contemporary management practice. Students enrolling in the Graduate Certificate of Business Administration select their courses from the core courses in the MBA program list.
Graduates will possess a good working knowledge of managment operations; have an integrated view of contemporary Australian and international business issues and demonstrate the communication and leadership skills essential for management roles.
Please note that the MBA, GDipBA, GCBA full time program commences each year in early to mid January.

A student may be required to pass a qualifying examination in basic computing, written communication and basic mathematics and statistics before enrolment is approved.
Permanent residents may be required to sit an IELTS and/or GMAT test if their prior studies were where English was not the language of instruction.

Careers
Graduates can expect to find employment opportunities in the areas of general management and management consultation.
While this degree may be accredited by an official industry accreditation body in Australia, completion of the degree may not result in graduates receiving automatic accreditation. Please contact the relevant registration body for details of any conditions for accreditation.

To complete the Graduate Certificate in Business Administration
To complete the Graduate Certificate in Business Administration, a student must complete a requisite number of courses chosen from the course list and according to the Rules for the program.
Students should be aware of the University of Queensland rules, particularly the General Award Rules, which govern the conduct of UQ programs. Students will find a link to the General Award Rules, and other University rules, on the University Rules page.
A student is required to obtain #8 from the MBA List comprising -

- #4 from Part B.
