Indicative annual fees are calculated on the basis of two full-time semesters only. Actual annual fees may vary in accordance with your choices of majors and electives and whether you study in Summer Semester. Tuition fees are indexed each year. The indexation rate is fixed 18 months in advance of a particular academic year thereby allowing you to plan your finances ahead of time. The University's intent is that fee rate increases will be kept to a minimum and that indexation rates will remain stable wherever possible. Since 2007 the indexation rate has remained at or less than 4%.

Writing, Editing and Publishing requires a portfolio of written work. The portfolio should include approximately 10 wordprocessed pages of writing (e.g. assignments submitted in previous courses, workplace documents, creative writing manuscripts).

What you can do with a Graduate Diploma in Arts

Careers

The Faculty of Arts offers postgraduate coursework programs that enable students to upgrade their skills and professional development needs for employment. Graduates of this program receive a qualification that will enhance their employment opportunities in all areas of the public service and private enterprise. In the face of unprecedented change and uncertainty at both a local and global level, organisations are seeking graduates who can think critically and react positively to these changes. Arts graduates are in the ideal position to meet this challenge with their ability to think independently, reason logically, write and communicate clearly.

While this degree may be accredited by an official industry accreditation body in Australia, completion of the degree may not result in graduates receiving automatic accreditation. Please contact the relevant registration body for details of any conditions for accreditation.

To complete the Graduate Diploma in Arts

To complete the Graduate Diploma in Arts, a student must complete a requisite number of courses chosen from the course list and according to the Rules for the program.
