Indicative annual fees are calculated on the basis of two full-time semesters only. The indexation rate is fixed 18 months in advance of a particular academic year thereby allowing you to plan your finances ahead of time. The University's intent is that fee rate increases will be kept to a minimum and that indexation rates will remain stable wherever possible. Since 2007 the indexation rate has remained at or less than 4%.

Environmental Management is the planning and implementation of actions geared to improve the quality of the human environment. The postgraduate programs in environmental management at the University of Queensland are multidisciplinary programs designed to enhance the skills and technical expertise of graduates working in all facets of the environmental arena. What you can do with a Graduate Diploma in Environmental Management

Careers

Career opportunities exist in managerial and policy positions in government, consulting firms and research, and in the private sector as environmental management system managers, auditors and policy analysts.

While this degree may be accredited by an official industry accreditation body in Australia, completion of the degree may not result in graduates receiving automatic accreditation. Please contact the relevant registration body for details of any conditions for accreditation.

To complete the Graduate Diploma in Environmental Management

To complete the Graduate Diploma in Environmental Management, a student must complete a requisite number of courses chosen from the course list and according to the Rules for the program.

Students should be aware of the University of Queensland rules, particularly the General Award Rules, which govern the conduct of UQ programs. Students will find a link to the General Award Rules, and other University rules, on the University Rules page.

A student is required to obtain #16 from the MEnvMan List comprising:

    (a) #4 from part A; and
    (b) #4 from part B in an approved field; and
    (c) #8 from - (i) part B; or (ii) part C; or (iii) any combination of (i) and (ii).
