Why study the Graduate Certificate in Social Work?

The Graduate Certificate is designed to give graduate social workers specialist skills and knowledge for practice in the area of mental health. While other programs within this University and elsewhere in the courntry offer some generic mental health courses at the post-graduate level which is available to social workers, none of these offer the combination of discipline specific skills and knowledge in combination with generic skills directly targeting social work practitioners.
