Indicative annual fee: AUD$ 28250

Indicative annual fees are calculated on the basis of two full-time semesters only. The indexation rate is fixed 18 months in advance of a particular academic year thereby allowing you to plan your finances ahead of time. The University's intent is that fee rate increases will be kept to a minimum and that indexation rates will remain stable wherever possible. Placement courses

Minimum of 500 hours of field experience related to exercise science in community, clinical, corporate, fitness, health or sport setting. Offered in 1st, 2nd and Summer Semester.

Honours

Honours is a modified program of study in year 4 and 5, with entry based on grade point average.

What you can do with a Bachelors of Exercise and Sport Sciences/Business Management

Careers

Completion of the Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Sciences section of this dual degree prepares students to become an Exercise Physiologist. However, accreditation through the Australian Association of Exercise and Sports Science (AAESS) will require further studies.

To complete the Bachelors of Exercise and Sport Sciences/Business Management

Students should be aware of the University of Queensland rules, particularly the General Award Rules, which govern the conduct of UQ programs. Students will find a link to the General Award Rules, and other University rules, on the University Rules page.

A student is required to obtain #80 comprising -

  • #36 from the BBusMan including -
    (i) #24 of compulsory courses in Group 1; and
    (ii) #12 from the physical activity major in Group 2 (#6 must be at level 3); and
  • #44 from the BExSS list.
