The University's intent is that fee rate increases will be kept to a minimum and that indexation rates will remain stable wherever possible. Since 2007 the indexation rate has remained at or less than 4%.

Why study the Associate Degree in Business?
The Associate Degree in Business is a Faculty of Business, Economics and Law program designed for delivery by UQ College to provide both a stand-alone UQ qualification in Business for UQ College students, and to be an articulation pathway for students into the UQ Bachelor of Business Management (BBusMan). The Associate Degree is therefore closely aligned to the structure and content of the foundation component of the BBusMan. The Associate Degree in Business is designed to give students skills in mathematics and writing, plus core knowledge in management, accounting, marketing, law and finance, plus access to courses in the fields of commerce, and tourism.

The indicative annual fee for the Associate Degree in Business is based on three trimesters. Please note that the 2012 indicative annual fee for international students is based on commencement in trimester 1. For students commencing in trimester 3, the indicative annual fee will be higher.

To complete the Associate Degree in Business
To complete the Associate Degree in Business, a student must complete a requisite number of courses chosen from the course list and according to the Rules for the program.
Students should be aware of the University of Queensland rules, particularly the General Award Rules, which govern the conduct of UQ programs. Students will find a link to the General Award Rules, and other University rules, on the University Rules page.
A student is required to obtain #32 from the AssocDBus List comprising -
- #26 of compulsory courses from Group 1; and
- #6 from Group 2
