Why study Leadership?

Leadership is a critical element of schools and other organisations today, making important contributions to the outcomes, overall success and sustainability of those organisations. This field of study provides students with advanced knowledge and understandings about the leadership and management of educational institutions (including schools, colleges, TAFE institutions), government departments and other organisations. The field of study focuses on the skills, knowledge and attitudes required by leaders in our discontinuously changing world, and challenges students to develop as critically reflective, flexible and ethically collaborative leaders of learning and thinkers.
