Why study Health?
This field prepares students for research and practice in health psychology through a combination of coursework, supervised practice, and research experience. The Australian Psychological Society recognizes that the area of health psychology is very broad. Health psychologists' interests range from the involvement in health promotion and issues concerning public health to those of the management of the physically unwell. Graduates are eligible for registration as psychologists in Australia and for associate membership in the College of Health Psychologists.
