Why study Gasteroenterological Nursing?

This plan is designed to meet the increasing demand for gastroenterological nurses. As students progress through the program, advanced practice skills will be developed along with an increasing awareness of the physiological and Patho physiological aspects of gastroenterological conditions. The program has been developed in alignment with current developments within the Australian health care system and aims to increase nurses' knowledge and skills in caring for clients with gastroenterological conditions requiring treatment by health professionals.
