Udo Gottlieb from Germany chose to Study Abroad at The University of Queensland to experience Australia's cultural diversity and its unique geographical location.

"Getting involved with UQ's many clubs and activities meant that there was never a shortage of social activities. Furthermore, by sharing accommodation with other nationalities you will improve your English skills considerably," he said.

"The courses I studied were recognised by my home institution and counted towards my degree. As a result of my Study Abroad experience at UQ, I decided to return a year later to start my PhD in Business Management."
