A recipient of an Australian Development Scholarship, Perdinan said the program offered him a broad understanding of how to deal with natural resource management - a necessity today with regard to the limited availability of these resources.

"The interdisciplinary approach and combination of natural resources and economics offered by my program are very interesting. I think this is a unique part of this program as it allows students from different backgrounds to learn about economic analysis for their specific purposes, " he said.
