“I chose to study at UQ for its beautiful campus, beautiful weather, interesting and fun classes, and the close proximity to the Great Barrier Reef.

“It has been an unforgettable experience studying at UQ and would recommend UQ to every study abroad student because of its amazing courses that it offers, in particular Australia’s Terrestrial Environment and Australia’s Marine Environment. You can’t come to UQ without taking these courses and there are so many other cool ones that I would have loved to take while I was here.

“I never imagined in my wildest dreams that being in class consisted of walking through a rainforest on the largest sand island in the world and snorkelling on one of the best places on the Great Barrier Reef - it was surreal! Not only that but the campus itself has amazing amounts of wildlife and beautiful scenery that amaze me every day.

“The other international students that I have met have also made my stay at UQ very special due to sharing such surreal experiences with them and forming an everlasting bond with people that I would have never met if not at UQ.”
