Credit for previous studies

If you have done previous studies with:

you may be eligible for credit towards a UQ program.

The amount of credit awarded will depend on your previous studies and what you want to study at UQ.

UQ is also a signatory to the Go8 Credit Transfer Agreement.

Other Universities (including Open learning Australia) to UQ
To apply for credit from university level studies, use our online application form.

TAFE to UQ
If you have an Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Diploma or Advanced Diploma you may be eligible for credit towards a UQ program.

The  Australian Defence Force
Requests for entry into selected postgraduate coursework programs from Australian Defence Force education and training programs are considered on a case–by–case basis.

The International Baccalaureate
If you have done IB studies at Higher Level, you may be eligible for credit towards your UQ program.
