To find out what the UQ-Link program is all about, including how to apply, the benefits of the program and how it has assisted current and past students, please read the information below and click on the relevant links.

What is the UQ-Link program?
The UQ-Link program is a special entry scholarship and support scheme which provides equitable access to higher education for people who have experienced educational disadvantage as a result of financial hardship.
The UQ-Link Special Entry Scheme enables the University to consider current school-leavers for special admission on the basis of their UQ-Link application if they do not reach the required OP/Entry Rank for their preferred program.
Eligible UQ-Link applicants, who receive a place at UQ, are also considered for a UQ-Link Scholarship. The UQ-Link Scholarships are valued at $3000 per year for up to four years. No separate application form is required.
Once enrolled, UQ-Link students automatically receive a start-up bursary of $500 to help fund up-front education costs (such as text books), and have access to an extensive range of support services including transition advice and ongoing support from Student Services.
Note: The due date for UQ-Link applications for 2010 is Friday 30 October 2009. Late applications may be accepted.
