The University Health Service offers confidential consultations by appointment to all students.

A dental clinic is located at UQ St Lucia and offers a student discount, as well as an optometrist that runs various bonus deals and specials throughout the year.

The costs of most services for domestic students are covered by Medicare (Bulk-Bill.

International students
The costs of most services for  international students are covered by OSHC Worldcare. More information about healthcare in Australia and OSHC will be provided to International students during Orientation.

Dental School
Students with health care cards may also receive free dental treatment at the University's Dental School in Turbot Street in Brisbane's CBD. Prior dental assessment of the student by School staff is required to ascertain suitability for the teaching program.
