UQ has established special entry schemes to increase the participation of particular groups in tertiary study.

Special Entry Schemes for current school leavers

• Students from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds (UQ-Link)
• UQ Bonus Rank Scheme
• Ipswich Early Offer Scheme
• Aerospace Gateway Schools Special Entry Scheme

In addition, the Special Consideration for Educational Disadvantage (SCED) special entry scheme is available to students applying for entry to UQ through QTAC, if they have experienced a situation which has had a negative effect on their academic results.
