Australian (domestic) applicants for postgraduate coursework programs

If you are considering any of the following programs:

these are the steps to take:

  1. If you have not already chosen your program, use Program search to find a program.
  2. Contact UQ Admissions Section for more information, including:
    1. any specific application requirements;
    2. the closing date for applications for your chosen program. The closing date can vary considerably from the date cited on the Postgraduate Coursework application form (eg. Master of Clinical Psychology);
    3. any additional documentation required. Entry into some programs (eg. Master of Clinical Psychology; Master of Counselling) requires an additional application form and/or referee reports. Any such additional requirements are included in the individual program information in the Programs and courses website.

  3. Download and fill in the Application for Postgraduate Coursework (PDF)
  4. Submit your application form at a Student Centre in person, or by mail:

  5. If your application is successful, you will be sent an enrolment pack with instructions for online enrolment, fee payment, and other important information.

The University of Queensland will consider requests for entry into selected postgraduate coursework programs — on the basis of Australian Defence Force education and training — on a case–by–case basis.


Please note that postgraduate coursework students will need to provide complete certified academic transcripts in English (showing all courses undertaken and degrees/diplomas awarded) with the "Application for Admission", unless their qualifications are from UQ.
