School fees for children of international students and staff
In 2012*, the annual tuition fees at Queensland Government schools are:
- Prep year (age 5 by 30 June) AUD$8720
- Primary (years 1[age 6 by 31 December] to 7- ages 6 to 11) AUD$8720
- Junior secondary (years 8-10 - ages 12 to 15) AUD$8940
- Senior secondary (years 11-12 - ages 16 to 18) AUD$10,120
*These fees may increase in 2013.
School tuition fee exemption
Some sponsored students may be exempt from paying school tuition fees for their children.
