UQ has established special entry schemes to increase the participation of particular groups in tertiary study.
- Alternative Entry Scheme for people of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Island descent
- UQ-Link Access Program - for applicants from low income backgrounds
- UQ Bonus Rank Scheme
- Ipswich Early Offer Scheme
- Aerospace Gateway Schools Special Entry Scheme
In addition, the QTAC Educational Access Scheme (EAS) enables applicants who have experienced difficult circumstances which have adversely impacted on their studies, to gain access to undergraduate programs.
