Course description

The course examines the context and challenges for social policy in Australia, and provides a foundation for understanding the social policy context of social work practice. The course examines how social policy is developed as well as current policy issues. It focuses on the development of knowledge and skills to analyse social policy debates and participate in policy making processes.
