Course description
The course aims to provide students with a basic understanding of both qualitative and quantitative research designs within the context of public health evaluation; to give them the skills to evaluate the rigour and validity of published evaluations; and introduce them to the basics of designing and implementing effective evaluation strategies in a range of public health contexts (e.g., individual work practice, health promotion, screening, and large-scale public programs and policy). This course may not be offered if the enrolment is less than 10 students.
