Course description
This course covers the core methods of qualitative research with a focus on their application to the health sciences. It includes: theory and methods in qualitative research; qualitative research methodology and data gathering techniques; research design, sampling & ethics; direct and participant observation; individual and group interviews; qualitative data recording and management; data analysis and interpretation; qualitative report writing and publishing; and issues in international and cross-cultural health research. This course may not be offered if the enrolment is less than 10 students.
