Topics include conformity and obedience, cult behaviour, brainwashing, the psychology of war, the struggle between individual and group will, prejudice, stereotyping, and conflict management. These topics will be discussed with reference to theory and empirical research, but also with an eye to the applied implications for promoting positive change and resolving real-world conflict.
