Course description
The course looks at a range of perenial political issues and problems and at the key approaches used to study them within political science and international studies. The introduction to the course will detail the history of political science as a discipline and define politics as a subject matter. The second part of the course will then identify a series of recurring themes within the academic study of politics and show how the theoretical approaches introduced in the first part of the course analyse and deal with them.
