Course description
This course examines similarities and differences in policy regimes throughout major OECD countries. Political institutions and issues such as community, democracy, citizenship rights, culture and conflict management are examined from a cross-national perspective. International forces are played out in particular national contexts and this course is concerned with how that results in differences between countries. Particular public policy concerns are discussed and there is flexibility for students to focus attention on policy issues of interest to them.
