Course description

The course provides an opportunity for students to better understand and experience the issues and complexities of development in the Global South. The course will involve three pre-departure workshop sessions prior to the field trip (at UQ St Lucia campus), as well as a 10-day field trip to a selected country in the Asia-Pacific region. In the event that students complete the fieldwork and then subsequently withdraw from this course without financial liability, the School reserves the right to charge full cost recovery for this field trip.
