Course description

Museum Studies Field School A provides first-hand experience to students about museums of all types and their location in a rapidly globalizing world. Located in Vietnam, focus in on documented case studies that will consider the challenges of conservation, governance and development frameworks that have become imperative in the contemporary world. It provides a unique opportunity to engage practically with contemporary issues in museums in an international context, developing skills in cross-cultural communication & museum practice. NOTE: course offering may be cancelled unless a minimum of 10 students enrol. Maximum enrolment is 30.
