Course description

Competing in a global market requires companies to manage their supply chains efficiently. This course will help strategic decision makers and operational managers in both domestic and international markets to manage logistics successfully across their business. You will learn how to create lean systems and organisational agility and how to solve problems using a range of practical tools. It will demonstrate how to put in place seamless processes for manufacturing and logistics, redefine supply chain processes and optimise resources. It will also cover topics including dynamic new product development, stock, transport and total-cost function modelling, innovation leadership and sustainable operations. The course will enable you to identify the current challenges facing supply chain managers and the issues within your own organisation, and learn about best practice and future directions in supply chain management.
