Course description
Machinery dynamics; energy methods; Lagrange's equations; vibration of single degrees of freedom systems; vibration isolation; balancing of rotating & reciprocating masses. Orbital mechanics: conical sections, gravity & aeroassisted planetary flybys. Re-entry & 3-dimensionsal dynamics applied to rigid bodies; spacecraft attitude, motion & stability.
