Course description

The non-languages specific postgraduate course is for students who already have proficiency in more than one language and also have an interest in translating and/or interpreting (T&I). The course introduces some of the major concepts and principles in T&I theory and the professional aspects of T&I, including ethics of the profession. It deals with advanced concepts of T&I such as interdisciplinary aspects of translation studies and will provide an understanding of more complex T&I processes.
