Course description

This course is an advanced examination of the legal issues in modern elder law. The course will consider powers of attorney (including enduring powers of attorney) and recent government programs, such as social security law and advanced care directives. The course will also consider retirement accommodation legislation and issues which arise when there is elder abuse such as the equitable doctrine of undue influence.
