Course description

This course will critically consider the legal accountability of government decision-makers and the executive branch of government. In doing so, the course will consider the concept of open government and theories of participatory democracy, and examine their relevance to common law and statutory duties including duties to provide procedural fairness, to give reasons for decisions and to provide freedom of information.
