Course description

This course is not offered in 2014. This course is an advanced level examination of the law, practice and policy relating to expert evidence in Australia. The course seeks to develop students' understanding of the role of expert evidence, both inside and outside the courtroom; the conduct and role of experts in the legal process; and the rules and procedure governing the admissibility of expert testimony in civil and criminal proceedings.
