Course description
Develops an understanding of land degradation processes (physical, chemical & biological), principles of sustainable land use (soil & water resources) & control of land degradation & practical development of land management plans. Water balance of the root zone & whole catchments. Drainage & ground-water hydrology. Run-off & soil erosion.
