Course description

JOUR7444 provides students with an opportunity to explore past, current, and emerging issues in visual methods of research and narrative construction. The course focuses on critical thinking about visual modes of communication and research methodologies. Learning activities will center on a series of readings (both visual and text-based) but the course will also involve some 'hands on' engagement with the construction and refinement of visual narrative.
