Course description

Applications of molecular genetics, genetic engineering & biotechnology to plant improvement. Theory & practical experience of DNA manipulation & genetic engineering, plant genomics, DNA marker technology & bioinformatics & the integration into modern plant improvement programs. The ethical & legal aspects of use of techniques in & products of biotechnology.
