Course description

This course is not being offered internally in semester 1 2014. This course surveys current perspectives on globalisation & investigates the links between globalisation & education. Topics include: economic & cultural globalisation, new technologies & new literacies; identity, community & culture in information societies; the nation state & educational policy in global/local context. This course may not be offered if the enrolment is less than 10 students.
