Course description
This course considers how different tools and technologies impact upon learning and development in both formal and informal settings. Literacy and numeracy serve as examples of situated practices that are shaped by new tools and technologies used by various communities. Students will explore the skills, knowledges and understandings that teachers of any subject and at any level of schooling need to have in order to support students' effective use of these tools and technologies in a number of settings.
