Course description
Physiology for Paramedics will build on the knowledge gained in Anatomy for Paramedics (ANAT1100) in first semester. The course presents a comprehensive overview of core physiological concepts such as homeostasis and how structure and function are integrated at all levels from the cell to human body. Paramedic Science students will learn alongside other Faculty of Health Science students, but will also receive specialised classes designed to provide paramedic-specific content and contextualisation to prepare them for their future role as ambulance paramedics.
