Course description
Many insects & arachnids either directly cause medical problems or vector pathogens. Integrates vector biology, principles of monitoring & control, epidemiology, & microbial ecology. Provides a foundation for understanding how resistance, changes in global climate, habitat modifications & expanding populations affect arthropod-borne diseases.
