Course description

Digestion & absorption of food in animals, microbiology & biochemistry of ruminal fermentation, regulation of metabolic pathways of protein, lipid & carbohydrate synthesis & degradation, biochemical basis of maintenance & production in farm animals, protein, energy & mineral requirements of animals, nutritive value of feeds, diagnosis of nutritional deficiencies.
